Mrs. Frances Smith Farmer, age 89, of Cedartown passed away on August 16, 2006. She was born on April 24, 1917 in Bluffton, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clyde Farmer, Sr.; parents, Robert and Belle Smith; sister, Viola McElwee; brothers, William Smith and George Smith and granddaughter, Cynthia Ann Farmer.

She is survived by daughter, Sue Ellen Shedd and son, Henry Clyde Farmer, Jr. and grandchildren, Leigh Farmer and Ishaih Bridges.

The graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, August 19th at 12:00p.m. eastern time at Highland Cemetery in Piedmont, Alabama.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 18th from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.
