Mrs. Frances Morris Chandler, 82, passed away on March 17, 2009. She was born February 2, 1927 in Polk County, Georgia.

Mrs. Chandler is survived by her loving Husband of 30 years, Dewey Lee Chandler; Children, Diane Sanders Young of Rockmart, Tommy and Amanda Sanders of Rockmart, Carole and David Kendall of Atlanta, and Lee and Christy Sanders of Cedartown; children by marriage, Tammy Floyd of Cedartown and Toby and Ginger Chandler of Newnan; 13 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Grandchildren by marriage; Velma Morris Wynn of Rockmart and Virginia Morris McDowell of Cumming; and Brother-in-law, Fred McDowell.

Mrs. Chandler is predeceased by her parents, Iona Bowman Morris Isenhour and Johnny Joel Morris; Brothers, Richard Morris and Emory Morris; Sister, Mildred Morris Purser; Son-in-law, Don R. Young; and Grandson by marriage, Chase Ray Floyd.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home

The funeral service for Mrs. Chandler will be conducted on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield, Rev. Danny Tucker, and Mr. Toby Chandler officiating.

Grandsons serving as Pallbearers are Brad Kendall, Robbie Sanders, Scott Sanders, Jason Kendall, Frankie Sanders, Ray Young and Russ Sanders. Grandsons serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Jesse Sanders, Will Sanders and Sam Sanders.

The interment will be in the family lot at Greenwood Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted; however, donations may be made to Rev. Clifford Chandler Ministry Building, Worldview Baptist Church, 500 College Dr., Cedartown, GA 30125.
