Mr. Floyd Delmas George Sr., age 65, of Cedartown, passed away January 18, 2017. He was born on April 3, 1951 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late Jack D. George and Sara Mobbs George.

Mr. George is survived by his daughters, Jada Ann Lieurance and Lara Leann George; 5 grandchildren, Conner Luke Barrett, Ethan David George, Elizabeth June George, Jonie Barnett, and K.C. Barnett; and 2 great grandchildren.

Mr. George is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy George Barnett; and son, Floyd Delmas George Jr.

The memorial service for Floyd Delmas George Sr. will be conducted on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at three o'clock in the afternoon at Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Trey Jones officiating.

The family of Mr. George will receive family and friends on Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 2 o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at Gammage Funeral Home.

The gentlemen of the Brewster Cleveland American Legion Post 86 will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Military rites will be conducted by the Brewster Cleveland American Legion Post 86.

The family respectfully request that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
