Mrs. Flora M. Davidson, age 92, of Cedartown passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009. She was born February 3, 1917 in Cleburne County, Al, the daughter of the late Carl Pruitt and Nannie McWhorter Pruitt.

She is survived by children, J. W. Davidson, Evelyn G. Ward, Charles Ardell Davidson, James Owen Davidson; and sister, Atha Price. She is also survived by Sixteen Grandchildren, Twenty-one Great-Grandchildren, and Two Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Davidson is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Warner Davidson; parents; daughter, Marie McElwee; son, Larry Davidson; numerous brothers and sisters.

The funeral service for Mrs. Davidson will be conducted on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev Ron Carroll and Rev. Joel Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Alabama.

The visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, June 22, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage Funeral Home.
