Mr. Felton Worth Pollard age 88 of Rome, formerly of Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2006. He was born on November 12, 1917 in Cherokee County, AL. He was an U. S. Army veteran serving in World War II. He was retired from the Diamond Shamrock Chemical Plant.

Mr. Pollard is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Susan Pollard; daughter, Debbie Hampton; granddaughter, Brandi Hampton.

Mr. Pollard is survived by wife, Mamie Kell Pollard; sons, David Pollard and Jerry W. Pollard; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Mary Jane Pollard; brother, Frank Pollard; grandchildren Robert Jason Pollard, Candy Jane Bryan, David Lynn Pollard, Dalton James Pollard; great-grandchildren, James Patrick Bryan, Nathan Lewis Bryan, Janea Shaelyn Bryan, J. T. Hampton and Cliff Hampton.

The funeral service for Mr. Felton Worth Pollard will be conducted on Saturday, January 28th at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of The Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Kenneth Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Neal Hill Cemetery, Centre, AL.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 27th from
6:00 PM until 9:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Jerry Pollard, Bob Cooglar, James Bryan, Richard Pollard, Donnie Arrington and Lewis Drummond.
