Mr. Ezra Madison Robertson, age 79 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014.  He was born on January 23, 1935 in Jasper, Alabama.  He was the son of the late James and Ada Moore Robertson.

Ezra came to the Lord on August 11, 1947, at the church of God in Jasper, Alabama.  He moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1950 where he helped build a new Church of God in West Hollywood, Florida.  That church now has about 650 members.  He was invited to visit Bread of Life Church of Jesus Christ and then was baptized in Jesus name a few weeks later in the Atlantic Ocean.

On February 6, 1990, Ezra and Judy moved to Cedartown, Georgia. They attended the Turning Point Church in Cedartown.

Mr. Robertson is survived his loving wife, Judy Dover Robertson; daughter, Debra Bussey; son, Johnny Robertson; brother, Homer Robertson; one grandchild; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Robertson is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Robertson will be conducted on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at eleven o'clock in the morning at the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kenneth McClary officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Robertson will receive family and friends on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from ten o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The follow gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Ted Stroup, Stanley Lemacks, "Bubba" Olive, Johnny Crawford, and Mitchell Bussey.

Flowers are to be omitted and donations can be made to the Turning Point Church, P.O. Box 104, Cedartown, GA 30125.
