Evelyn Carol Reed, age 74 of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was born on March 30, 1943 in Polk County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Charles Preston Stephens and Leta Stanford.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lillian Pearson; and brothers, John Stephens and James Stephens.

Ms. Reed is survived by her daughters, Johnnie Gail Hurley, Stephanie Sharlene Wright, and Carol Annette Reed; 3 granddaughters; 6 grandsons; 14 great granddaughters; 7 great grandsons; sister, Charlene Stephens Hobbs; brothers, Charles Preston Stephens, Jr., Sammy Hobbs; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with her wishes' her body was cremated. The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.
