Mrs. Evelyn L. Patterson Bailey, age 85, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017. She was born on April 9, 1932 in Cedartown, GA. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Jettie Channell Patterson.

Mrs. Bailey was a lifelong member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her sister, Betty Ruth Cosby; brother, Coye Patterson; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Susie Terry.

Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon Bailey; sisters, Syble Pitts and Jewel Wilson and brother, Jerry Patterson.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Evelyn L. Patterson Bailey will be conducted on Monday, April 17, 2017 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Partain officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Garden Cemetery with Mr. Alex Wilson officiating.

The family of Mrs. Bailey will receive family and friends on Monday, April 17, 2017 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Terry Patterson, Ken Patterson, Gary Lynn Wilson, Charles Wheeler, Edward Lackey and Carl Lindsey.

The honorary pallbearers will be the ladies of Shiloh Baptist Church.
