Mrs. Evelyn Jolly Meadows, age 77 of Cedartown passed away June 6, 2006. She was born on January 26, 1929 in Polk County.

Mrs. Jolly was a member of Calvary Assembly of God.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Meadows; sons, Danny L. Meadows and Gil S. Meadows; parents, Homer L. Jolly and Jennie Smith Jolly; sister, Diane J. Morris and brothers, Raymond L. Jolly and Russell D. Jolly.

She is survived by sisters, Kathryn J. Kerr of Cedartown, Virginia J. Hilburn of Pensacola, Florida and Jean J. Sharpe of Baxley; brothers, Harold L. Jolly of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, H. Bruce Jolly of Rancho Cordva, California, John D. "Boober" Jolly of Cedartown and Richard A. Jolly of Cedartown. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted on June 8th at 2:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Butram officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on June 7th from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.
