Mrs. Evelyn Margaret Green, age 67, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 07, 2010. She was born in Rome, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Joseph and Ada Mae Elizabeth Cheeks Minter.
Mrs. Green was a seamstress for more than 30 years at Arrow Shirt.
Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, David Neal Green; daughter and son-in-law, Shena and Greg Gravitt; son, Gerald Green; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack and Tony Minter and sisters, Glenda Wiggins and Martha Lou LeCrome.
Mrs. Green is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Joseph and Ada Mae Cheeks Minter; sister, Corina Gentry and brother, Charles Minter.
The funeral service for Mrs. Green will be conducted on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Drummond and Rev. Gene Beck officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8, 2010 from 6-9pm at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Sullivan, Tommy Gentry, Keith Welchel, Wayne Gentry, Joey Wiggins and Timmy Wiggins.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mrs. Evelyn Margaret Green.
