Mrs. Evelyn Morrison Glenn, age 96, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in the Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta, GA. Mrs. Glenn was born on September 30, 1912 and was a native of Anniston, Alabama and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 12 years.

She was a former resident of Cedartown, Georgia where she was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and the Garden Club.
Mrs. Glenn was a member of the New Life Sanctuary and the Omega Group of the Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Glenn; son, David Glenn; and granddaughter, Kay Plummer.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jean Johnson of Jacksonville, FL and Gerri Thompson of Brunswick, GA; sister, Polly Elliott of Anniston, AL.; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in Brunswick at 11:00 a.m. on Monday April 20, 2009 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at Edo Miller Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and request that any contributions be made to the Alzheimer Association, 3911 Hampton Ave. Brunswick, GA 31520.

The family will receive friends in Cedartown at Olin L.Gammage and Sons Funeral Home from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 21, 2009 with Graveside services to follow in Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Bill Jones officiating.

The following men will serve as Pallbearers: Jeffrey Newson, Shawn Thompson, Brandon Jackson, Josh Johnson, Everett Ledbetter, and Daniel Glenn. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Omega Group of the New Life Sanctuary.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home and Edo Miller and Sons Funeral home are handling the arrangements for Mrs. Evelyn Morrison Glenn.
