Mrs. Evelyn Jeanette Cole, age 76 of Cedartown, passed away Monday, December 4, 2006. She was born on August 18, 1930 in Polk County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wade "Jack" Cole and parents, Hershel Bridges and Louise Trammell Bridges.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Diann Cole Coats and Tony Coats, Glenda Cole Green and Kenneth Green and Debi Cole Knight and Tony Knight; brothers, Bobby Bridges, Jackie Bridges and Jerry Bridges. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 6th at 3:30p.m. at Oakgrove Baptist Church with Mr. Kerry Coats, Rev. Billy Brown, Bishop David Huskins and Rev. Tony Rockhill officiating. Interment will follow in Oakgrove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 5th from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Kerry Coats, Micah Green, Brad Stowe, Chance Stokes, Chris Stowe and Drew Williamson. Lance Corporal Sterling Cole Knight will be an honorary pallbearer.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Evelyn Jeanette Cole.
