Mrs. Evelyn B. Chandler, age 84, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. She was born on December 7, 1927 in Haralson County.

Ms. Chandler is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law, Dennis and Linda Barber of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; sons, James Barber and friend, Joan Weaver of Piedmont, AL, Larry Barber, Van Barber and friend Susie Justice of Buchanan, GA; daughter and sons-in-law, Colline and Larry Welchel of Cedartown, Melissa and William Puckett of Rockmart, Norma Jean Wilkes of Aragon; 22 grandchildren, 59 great- grandchildren, and 11 great-great-granchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Bertha Osmer, Annie Ruth Hammock, Clara Osborne, Hazel Chandler, Nellie Bowen, Elaine Smith; brothers, Clarence Miller, Horace Miller, Nobel Miller, William Miller.

Ms. Chandler is preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmie Barber and Carl Chandler; daughters Malinda Barber, Thelma Hulsey; granddaughters, Heather Barber, Daniele Hulsey, Sabrina Welch; sons-in-law, James E. Wilkes, Harlin Husley; daughter-in-law, Cathy Barber; grandson, Jimmie Hulsey; great-grandson, William Robert Hodges; father, Frank Chitwood; mother and step-father, Jim and Vera Miller; brothers, Junior and Daniel Miller.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Chandler will be conducted on Saturday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons with Brother Max Kimball, Brother Dan Lester, and Brother Herb Lindsey officiating.

Interment will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 120, Haralson County.

The family of Mrs. Chandler will receive and friends on Thursday, May 24th, between the hours of 6:00 and. 9:00.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Robbie Wilkes, Donnie Barber, Larry Welchel, Jimmy Hodges, James Barber, Jr., Shane Hulsey.

Honorary Pallbearers are Kenneth (Dink) Wilkes, Donald Welchel, Joe Barber, William Hodges, and Preston Barber
