Ms. Evelyn Willie Bridges Teems, age 91 of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015. She was born on February 12, 1924 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Willie Bridges and Rosie Pruett Bridges.

Ms. Teems is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Seals and Doug; son and daughter-in-law, Terry Teems and Jeanice; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren

Ms. Teems is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. James Monroe Teems; daughters and son-in-laws, Sarah and Jerry Morris and Linda and Bob Simpson and brother, Edward Bridges.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Evelyn Willie Bridges Teems will be conducted on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Teems will receive family and friends on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jeff Teems, Danny Rittenhouse, Danny Yearous, Jimmy Simpson, Chris Rittenhouse and Eric Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be: Bobby Simpson and Chris Simpson.
