Eunice Pauline Hampton Boyd, age 78, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012. She was born July 19, 1933, in Cedartown Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by: parents, John Wilburn Hampton & Jewell Adell Bowman Hampton; husband, Edgar Wilburn Boyd; step daughter, Mogene Boyd McConnell; step son, Royce Wilburn Boyd; brothers, Olan Hampton, Nolan Hampton, James Dewey "Jimmy" Hampton.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Ann Denise Boyd Yarbrough & Jerry; son & daughter-in-law, Edgar Dennis Boyd & Connie; step daughter, Cheri Boyd Martin; grandchildren, Courtney Michelle Barrett, Daniel Lee Puckett, Jacob Tyler Boyd; great grandchildren, Timothy Blake Puckett, Trent Barrett, and Reagan Barrett. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Eunice Boyd will be conducted on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. DeWayne New officiating. Interment will follow in Lee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 19th, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
