Mr. Eugene T. Bentley, age 69, of Cedartown passed away Monday, August 21, 2006. He was born on March 31, 1937 in Polk County.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Bentley; son, Eric Bentley; parents, Levi Bentley and Marie Watson Bentley and brother, Emanuel Bentley.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Grace Camp Bentley, son and daughter-in-law, E. Bryan Bentley and Cynthia Y. Bentley; granddaughter, Katherine E. Bentley; sister, Dean McDougal and brother, Nathanael Bentley.

The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 23rd at eleven o'clock in the morning in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Mr. Bryan Bentley and Rev. Bill Heaton officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Tred Abrams, Buddy Davis, David East, Willie Knight, Wayne Ozment, Doug Russell and Paul White. Honorary pallbearers are David Hatch, Herbert Hatch, Dennis McAvoy and Ray Mauldin.

The family respectfully request flowers are omitted and donations be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
