Mrs. Ethel Lena Benefield Earley age 94 of 1305 Collard Valley Road in Cedartown Georgia passed away Friday April 1, 2005. She was born on March 29, 1911.

Mrs. Earley is preceded in death by her parents, Martha and John Henry Benefield, her husband William (Bryant) Earley, her daughter Faye Marie Earley Morgan, a baby son William Billy Earley, and three brothers N.R. Benefield, Wesley Benefield, and Preston Benefield.

She is survived by her daughters Ann E. Spencer, Peggie E. Kirkpatrick, her sons Ray Earley, Tommy Earley, and Jerry Earley, 18 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren, along with a number of nieces and nephews, and her sister-in-law Beatrice Benefield.

The family will receive friends on Saturday April 2nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mrs. Earley will be conducted on Sunday April 3rd at 2:00 pm at the Collard Valley Baptist Church with the Reverend Gene Beck officiating and the music by Mrs. Janice Colquitt Stewart. The Pallbearers will be her Grandsons.
Mrs Earley will lie in state from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service.

The internment will follow at Polk Memory Gardens.
