Ms. Esther Cook Pope, age 92 of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015. She was born on March 27, 1923 in Polk, County. She was the daughter of the late H.G. Cook and Versay Upton Cook. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Tommie L. Pope.

Ms. Pope was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Cedartown where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for a number of years.

Ms. Pope is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy L. Pope; three sisters and two brothers.

Ms. Pope is is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Donna and Steve Aaron and Judy and James Davis; sister, Nancy Brown; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Ms. Esther Cook Pope will be conducted on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at one o'clock in the afternoon at Northview Cemetery with Rev. Talmadge Pope officiating.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted and that any memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 922 East Morris Street, Dalton, GA 30721.
