Mrs. Essie "Lee" Sloman Williamon, age 81, of Fayetteville, GA, formerly of Cedartown, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2006. She was born on February 29, 1924 in Haralson County to the late James Sloman and Ada Sloman.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Janice Lee Williamon.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas "Leroy" Williamon; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas A. and Judy Williamon and Jeffrey Roy and Kelly Williamon all of Fayetteville; sisters, Herstine Sloman Bussey and Twin Sister, Bessie Mae Sloman Witt; 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 25th at 4:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Rev. Chris West and Rev. Gerald Sloman officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24th from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are David Taylor, Daniel West, Jason Weeks, Clint DeLaney, Bobby Williamon and Butch Williamon.
