Mrs. Ernestine Bond Benefield, age 99, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021.  She was born on January 22, 1922 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Hillary Bond and Florence Rogers Bond.

Mrs. Benefield was a member of First Baptist Church of Cedartown since March 18, 1954.

Mrs. Benefield is survived by her son, Rev. Wayne Benefield; daughter, Carol Benefield; and brothers, Robert Bond and Tommy Bond.

Mrs. Benefield is preceded in death by her parents; husband; William S. Benefield; and brothers, Lyle Bond, and infant baby brother.

In keeping with Mrs. Benefield's wishes, she was cremated.  A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Benefield on Monday, October 4, 2021 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The family of Mrs. Benefield will receive family and friends on Monday, October 4, 2021 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the memorial service hour at First Baptist Church.

The Inurnment will follow at the Northview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Cedartown, 101 N. College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
