Mrs. Emily Prior Goodwin, age 95, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010. She was born February 26, 1914 in Lithia Springs, Georgia to the late Cleveland Puckett and Rosie Lorrens Puckett.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Joe Prior Jr., Arthur Forrister, Ford Goodwin; sisters, Bessie Puckett Forrister and Jessie Puckett Forrister; and brother, Monroe Puckett.

Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her sons, Dewie Forrister, James Forrister, and Curtis Forrister; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Goodwin will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service on Tuesday February 23rd from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Kyle Forrister, Lonnie Forrister, Sam McClain David Lilly, Stephen Curby, and Wesley Shanks will serve as Pallbearers.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mrs. Emily Prior Goodwin.
