Ms. Elsie Faye Warren Welchel, age 81 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. She was born on July 10, 1933 in Floyd County. She was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Martha Gladys Johnson Warren.
Ms. Welchel is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Linda Faye Robinson and Ronnie Robinson, Diane Jacobs, Nancy Collins and Melissa Hayes; sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Wayne Welchel, David Welchel, Christopher Welchel and Lisa Puckett Welchel; sister, Sandra Cook Wheat; brothers, Julius Warren and John Warren; grandchildren, Austin Welchel, Rodney Robinson, Kimberly Robinson Reeves, David Morgan, Keith Morgan, Ryan Welchel, Michael DeGennaro, Jordan Collins, Aaron Landrum and Janette Landrum and eight great-grandchildren.
Ms. Welchel is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hershel Welchel; daughter, Susan Welchel.
The funeral arrangements for Ms. Welchel will be conducted on Friday, October 17, 2014 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sanders Cemetery.
The family of Ms. Welchel will receive family and friends on Friday, October 17, 2014 from two o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Ryan Welchel, Mikey DeGennaro, David Morgan, Keith Morgan, Jordan Collins, Rodney Robinson, Austin Welchel and Aaron Landrum.
