Obituary

Mrs. Elma Jo Ingram Cheatwood, age 79 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015. She was born on August 26, 1935 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Emmett Ingram and Nellie Mae Patila Bright.

Mrs. Cheatwood is survived by her husband, John Franklin Cheatwood; son, Don R. Cheatwood; sister, Mary Lou Ballew; grandson, Craig A. Cheatwood and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cheatwood is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Martha Ann Coker and brother, Barry S. Bright.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Cheatwood will be conducted on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Cheatwood will receive family and friends on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from five o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jeff McCray, Todd McCray, Scott McCray, Ricky McKibben, Donnie McKibben and Jimmy McKibben.
