Mrs. Ellie Jane Garmon Voyles, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away Thursday January 10, 2008. She was born June 26, 1924 in Bluffton, Alabama.

Family members surviving are sisters, Allie Pope and Alma Jackson; brothers, Fay Garmon and Chester Garmon; daughter, Vida Voyles Jackson. A grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Voyles is preceded in death by husband, George Voyles; parents, Clifton Russell Garmon and Electa Mable Peek Garmon; brothers, Clinton Garmon, Herman Garmon, and Carl Garmon.

The funeral service for Mrs. Jane Garmon Voyles will be conducted on Sunday, January 13, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Lewis Conaway officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers are Don Garmon, Phil Jackson, Paul Garmon, Bill Garmon, Vacel Carter, Bill McClure, and Richard Weeks.
