Ms. Ellen Brown Watters, age 87, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012. She was born on January 14, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Whitner and Adeline Mullinax Brown.

Ms. Watters is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-laws, Danny Watters and wife Becky of Douglasville, GA, Daryl Watters and wife Robyn of Cedartown, GA and Eddie Watters and wife Pam of Lindale, GA; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ms. Watters is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Watters; son, Ronnie Watters; daughter-in-law, Judy Watters; two sisters and five brothers.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Watters will be conducted on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at two o'clock in the afternoon at New Harmony Baptist Church with Dr. DeWayne New, Dr. Charles Drummond and Rev. Danny Watters officiating. Ms. Watters' grandchildren will be giving the eulogy. Ms. Watters will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral hour at the New Harmony Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Watters will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Chad Watters, Kip Watters, Kyle Watters, Jonathan Watters, Mark Watters, Kevin Watters, Breton Watters and Aryn Watters.
