Mrs. Ellen Elizabeth "Little Bit" Jones, age 75, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. She was born December 12, 1932 in Floyd County, the daughter of Mr. Homer Pierce and Mrs. Winnifred Haney Pierce.

Her daughters, Sharon L. Brose, Gerry Tippens, Donna Tant, and Denise Jones; twelve Grandchildren; and eleven Great-grandchildren survive her. She is also survived by special cousin, Jackie Brannon.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by husband, Wilford Jones; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Pierce; daughter, Judy Magruder; and sister, Kathleen Vincent.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 11, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Atchley officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Rome, GA. on Monday October 13, at 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers are Jamie Barnette, Brandon Jones, Kenny Tudor, Danny Massey, David Blair, and Richard Vincent.
