Mrs. Ella Maureen Wood Tanner, age 74, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born on March 11, 1947 in Piedmont, Alabama.  She was the daughter of the late Doyal and Fannie Roland Wood.

Mrs. Tanner is survived by her daughters, Christol L. Privett and A. Nicole Cliff (Allen); son, Avery Carson Tanner (Dana); sister, Hattie B. Osborne; and grandchildren, Hayden Privett, Avery Privett, Gracee Privett, Raegan Tanner, Reece Tanner, Rachel Tanner, Tanner Cliff, and Gabriella Cliff.

Mrs. Tanner is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Seals Leftwich Tanner; sister, Myrtle Ferguson; and brother, Doyal Wood, Jr.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Ella Maureen Wood Tanner will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery

The family of Mrs. Tanner will receive family and friends on Monday, November 22, 2021 from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
