Mrs. Elizabeth Freeman Hopkins, age 78 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014. She was born on May 7, 1935 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Loise Freeman and Mrs. Bertha Sorrells Freeman.

Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Hopkins; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Polly Mobbs Hopkins; sisters, Barbara Bagley, Martha Head and Mary West; grandchild, Kayland Hopkins and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Hopkins is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carol Hopkins Lane; sisters, Sevellar Crawford and Dot Beckham and brothers, Vestor Freeman, Nim Freeman and Author Freeman.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Hopkins will be conducted on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Drummond and Rev. Ray Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Hopkins will receive family and friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Justin Gable, Adam Gable, Mike Hulsey, Bob Aring, Dennis Harrell and Mike Ferguson.
