Ms. Elizabeth Griffith Buice, age 100, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013. She was born on October 2, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Andrew McDonald and Kittie Head Griffith.

Ms. Buice is survived by her son, Robert Buice; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ms. Buice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Len Joseph Buice; daughter, Barbara Buice Coleman; four brothers and one sister.

In keeping with Ms. Buices' wishes she was cremated. A memorial service for Ms. Buice will be conducted on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery officiated by Rev. Jason Hatchett.

Music will be provided by Beleta Anderson, Kersha Cartwright, Megan Hatchett, Kiley Thompson and Abby McKenzie.

The family of Ms. Buice will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from ten o'clock in the morning until the memorial service hour.

Flowers are not being accepted; however, memorial donations can be made to the Oak Brook Hospice, 660 West Bankhead Highway, Suite E, Villa Rica, GA 30180 or First Baptist Church of Cedartown, 101 North College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
