Mr. Edward Earnest Powell, age 75, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his son, Edward "Eddie" Keith Powell, Sr.; parents, Chesley Powell and Mamie Stephens Powell and several sisters and brothers.

Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Margie Ree Powell; daughter-in-law, Barbara Jo Thompson Powell; sisters, Louise Smith and Ruth Cook and brothers, Barney Powell. Also surviving are grandchildren, Keith Powell, Jr. and Joleen Powell, great grandchild Cody Powell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The memorial graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, May 6th at 2:00p.m. at Northview Cemetery with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating.
