Mrs. Edna Mae Nash Carter, age 82 of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016. She was born on July 31, 1934 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Eddie and Willie Mae Thomas Baldwin.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her daughters, Janice Nash and Kathy Bell and future son in-law, Greg Wilkerson; brother, John Ray Baldwin; grandchildren, Kenneth Easterwood, Terry Bell, Tim Easterwood, Jennifer Webber and April Smith; 16 great-grandchildren; fiance of many years, Jimmy Chambers; niece, Martha Von Rohn and nephew, Ralph Miller.
Mrs. Carter is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Blivens Nash; daughter, Norma Nash; son, Bobby Nash; sister, Betty Ann Murphy and granddaughter, Katherine Bell.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Edna Mae Nash Carter will be conducted on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at three o'clock in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Easterwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Carter will receive family and friends on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Douglas Chambers, Bristol Smith, Elvis Webber, Andrew Curtis, Dude Fortenberry, and Lewis Chambers.
