Mrs. Edna Deemes Conner, age 80, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. She was born April 22, 1929 in Polk County, the daughter of Herman and Maudie Nicholson Deemes (both deceased). Sons, Charles Smith, Glenn Smith, Robert Smith; sister, Patsy Jenkins; brother, Douglas Deemes also precede her in death.

Mrs. Conner attended Lees Chapel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Conner is survived by daughters, Lisa Weaver, Sherry Morgan; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Tina Tucker; sister, Sylvia Ray; brother, Herman Deemes, Jr. Twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, nine nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Edna Deemes Conner will be conducted on Friday morning, February 19th , at 11:00 in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home. The interment will be in Youngs Grove Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Denver Morgan, Randy Henson, Todd Morgan, Bry Henson, McCade Henson, Matt Smith, Tanner Tucker, Ray Corn.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 9:00 at the Gammage Funeral Home.
