Mr. Edgar "Dennis" Boyd, age 66, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. He was born on March 15, 1956 in Marietta, Georgia. He was the son of the late Edgar Wilburn and Eunice Pauline Hampton Boyd.

Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Connie Frances Swindall Boyd; daughter, Courtney Barrett (Allen); son, Jacob Boyd (Karina); sister, Ann Denise Boyd Yarbrough (Jerry); brothers and sisters-in-law, Peggy and Neal Cauthen, Annette and Norman Sadler, Joyce and Mark Hooper, June McBride, Faye Hudgins and Harlan Swindall and Billie Jo; nephew, Daniel Puckett; mother-in-law, Willene Swindall; grandchildren, Trent Lee Barrett, Reagan Elise Barrett, and Adalynn Rose Barrett; and several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Boyd is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Royce Boyd; sisters, Gene McConnell and Cheri Martin; and nephew, Josh Sadler.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Edgar "Dennis" Boyd will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Lee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Boyd will receive family and friends on Friday, September 23, 2022 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Bill Ferrell, Barry Bonds, Trent Barrett, Roy Tracey, Derek McBride, Allen Barrett, Jake Hudgins, and Adam Gentry.
