Mr. James Edward Phillips, Jr., "Eddie Mopad Phillips", age 52 of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013. He was born on August 6, 1960 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late James Edward Phillips, Sr. and Betty Jo Fincher Phillips.
Mr. Phillips was employed as a welder for over 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He lived life to the fullest and would tell you today "I HAVE HAD A GOOD TIME."
Mr. Phillips is survived by his loving wife, Beth Phillips of Cedartown; daughters, Kristen Phillips and Ashlie Phillips Floyd; son, Codie Phillips; sisters, Teresa Phillips May, Janet Phillips Pittman and Angela Phillips Spann; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and best friend, Scott May.
In keeping with Mr. Phillips wishes he was cremated. A private service for Mr. Phillips will be held.
The family of Mr. Phillips will receive family and friends on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from five o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
