Mr. Dustin David Hood, age 19 of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015. He was born on August 9, 1995 in Rome, Georgia.

Dustin is survived by his father and step-mother, Edgar Loman Hood and Susan; mother, Melinda Christine Callahan; sisters, Anita Dostart, Robyn Hood, Savannah Swift, Jessica Taylor and Kimberly Howard and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dustin is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Glenda Hood and Mary Jane Brazier; aunt, Mary Ann Howard and great-grandparents.

The funeral arrangements for Dustin will be conducted on Friday, January 23, 2015 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kermit Pruitt, Rev. Timmy Jones and Rev. Randy Vines officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Dustin Hood will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from five o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Ryan Anderson, Shane Hood, Austin Wayne Jones, Dalton Brock, Victor Postart and Jonathan Causey. Honorary pallbearers will be: Keith Dostart, Jesus Ledesma, Yen Nguygen, Phillip Hood, John White and Casey White.
