Mr. Doyle Dawson, age 70, of Cedartown passed away on March 21, 2009. He was born July 30, 1938 in Polk County, Georgia.

Mr. Dawson is survived by wife, Barbara Farmer Dawson; daughters, Judy Lynn Wood, Donna Jean Lawrence, Hope Marie Williams; sons, Kenneth Wayne Dawson, Tony Scott Dawson, Darrell Eugene Dawson; brothers, Charles Cobb Dawson, William Dawson; ten grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Mr. Dawson is predeceased by his parents, Mr. John Cobb Dawson and Gladys Blankenship Dawson; sisters, Elizabeth Ballew, Bettey Ingram; and brother, Earl Bud Dawson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home

The funeral service for Mr. Dawson will be conducted on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Partain officiating. The interment will follow in Northview Cemetery with military rites performed by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Post #86 honor guard.

Pallbearers are Michael Farmer, Tony Wayne Dawson, Sammy Haney, Labron Jenkins, Chris Dawson, and Joe Lawrence.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Doyle Dawson.
