Mr. Doyle Chandler, age 93, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, April 01, 2011. He was born on July 24, 1917 in Haralson County. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. and Emma Bartow White Chandler.
Mr. Doyle Chandler served as the Polk County's Justice of the Peace for more than twenty years.
Mr. Chandler is survived by, nieces, Jennifer North and husband, Mike and Penny Haney and husband Tim and Lisa Smith; nephews, Kerry Chandler, Gregory Doyle Chandler and wife Glenda and Phil Chandler; sister-in-laws, Bernice Chandler and Winnie Chandler; great-nieces, Tiffany Haney and Tabatha Rossi-Espagnet and great-nephews, Daniel Martin, Luke Martin, Nathaniel Chandler, Robert North and Steven North.
Mr. Chandler is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, John Chandler and Hugh Chandler.
The funeral arrangements for Mr. Chandler will be conducted on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating.
Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Chandler will receive friends on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Nathaniel Chandler, Greg Chandler, Phil Chandler, Tim Haney, Mike North and David Rossi-Espagnet.
