Mr. Doyal Jacob Parish, age 75, of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014. He was born on April 22, 1939 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Janie Lou Daniel Parish.

Mr. Parish is survived his loving wife, Shirley Ann Easterwood Parish; sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert Darin and Lori Parish and Jeffery Patrick and Dana Parish; five grandchildren, Holly Shay Rosser, Jonathan Robert Parish (Breanna), Dylan Jake Parish (Meghann), Lucas Allen Perry and Hunter York Parish; four great-grandchildren, Emily, Adam, Aaron, Hayden and one on the way, Eli; sister and brother-in-law, Chelma Bell and James and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Parish is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bobby Wayne Parish and Edward Lee Parish.

In keeping with Mr. Parishs' wishes he was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at six o'clock in the evening at The Cedartown Church of God on West Avenue with Rev. John Moates and Rev. Delton Harne officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the church.
