Mr. Douglas Arthur McCray, age 65, of Cedartown passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2007. He was born March 24, 1942 in Haralson County. Mr. McCray was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.

Mr. Douglas Arthur McCray was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Clifford E. McCray; mother, Mrs. Elise Mae Gable McCray; and sister, Mrs. Joyce B. McCray.

He is survived by his wife Joyce McCray; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa & Rev. Randy Vines; son and daughter-in-law, Brian & Sandi McCray; and daughter and son-in-law, April & Waylon Cupp. Mr. McCray is survived by three sisters Lillian Brock, Lucy Garner, Mary East and one brother D.L. McCray. He is also survived by his grandchildren Addison Elizabeth McCray, Ashlyn Karaline McCray, and Brylan Avery McCray.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 16 at 3:00 p.m. at Eastview Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Campbell and Rev. Joey Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 15 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Scott McCray, Todd McCray, Jeff McCray, Greg Garner, Brad East, and David McKinzey.
