Mr. Douglas Robert Forrister age 67, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. He was born on March 1, 1943, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. and Mildred Pruitt Forrister.

Mr. Forrister was the owner and operator of a truck driving service for many years.

Mr. Forrister is survived by his loving wife, Carla Cooper Forrister; sons and daughter-in-laws, Ken Forrister and wife Karen and Bart Forrister and wife Carey; sisters, Maedell Pierce and Virginia Thomson and four grandchildren, Kam Forrister, Korbin Forrister, Macy Forrister and Carly Forrister.

Mr. Forrister is preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. and Mildred Pruitt Forriester and one brother, James R. Forrister.

In keeping with Mr. Forrester's wishes he was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
