Ms. Dorothy Ellison Tumlin of Blue Ridge, Georgia formerly of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 after a brief illness.

Dot was a long time employee of the Georgia Department of Labor.

Dot is survived by three daughters, Ellen T. White of Blue Ridge, GA, Jennie T. Visscher of Marietta, GA and Ann Tumblin Carnes of Los Angeles, CA and one granddaughter, Emma L. White of Blue Ridge, GA.

A memorial service honoring Dot's life will be conducted on Friday, July 22, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the sanctuary of the St. Luke's Episocopal Church in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
