Mrs. Dorothy Florine Hogue, age 74, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 after an extended illness. She was born on April 27, 1934 in Polk County, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John C. Forrister and Mary Wilson Shepard; grandparents, W. J. A. Wilson, Dolly Short.

She is survived by husband, Thomas Ray Hogue Jr.; daughter, Trenna Morris; sons, Thomas Ray Hogue III and Wallace Hogue; brother, John Roy Forrister. Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home

The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Hogue will be conducted on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Bell, Jason Hogue, Tony Merritt, Jason O'Neal, John Forrister Jr., and James (Dink) Reeves. Honorary Pallbearers are W.J. Cole, James (Jimmy) Hogue, and Danny Mathis.
