Mrs. Dorothy Nelle Daniel Crocker, age 84, of Cedartown passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. She was born May 23, 1924 in Heard County, GA, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Daniel.

Family survivors include Daughters and Sons-in-law, Nancy Crocker Woods and William Woods, and Jean Crocker Rutherford and Barry Rutherford of Alpharetta, GA; Daughter, Ms. Jane Crocker of Roswell, GA; Sister, Emily Jean Greer of Jacksonville, AL; Sister-in-law, Mrs. Bryant Daniel; Eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Her husband, William Allen Crocker and parents, Clara Ruth Hammond Daniel and John Heflin Daniel, preceded Mrs. Crocker in death.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 13, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Nelle Daniel Crocker will be conducted on Thursday, November 13, 2008 following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Hoffmann officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Barry S. Rutherford, Barry W. Rutherford, William Woods, John Greer Jr., Daniel Greer, Robert Greer, Blake Rodenroth, and Ron Casey will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, 201 Wissahickon Ave., Cedartown, GA 30125.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mrs. Dorothy Nelle Daniel Crocker.
