Ms. Doris Frances Weatherby Jarrett, age 86 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011. She was born on October 23, 1924 in Floyd County; she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Oloa Frances Maddox Weatherby.

Ms. Jarrett is survived by daughter and son-law-in, Carolyn Jarrett Timms and James; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Jarrett and Gloria; three sister-in-laws; 35 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren; 70 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive.

Ms. Jarrett is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnnie Andrew "Red" Jarrett; daughters, Martha Ann Daniels and Doris Elizabeth Jarrett; son, Marion Milton Jarrett; five sisters; five brothers; grandson, Maurice Jarrett and four great-grandchildren, Brittany Jarrett, Hope Jarrett, William James Timms and Dallas Williams.

The funeral service for Ms. Jarrett will be conducted on Monday, July 25, 2011 at one o'clock in the afternoon at Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. John Redding, Rev. Jerome Smith and Rev. Joe Shoemaker officiating.

Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Jarrett will receive family and friends at the residence of Ms. Jarrett, 1200 Rockmart Highway, Cedartown, Georgia 30125, on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at five o'clock in the evening through Monday, July 25, 2011.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Kenny Reeves, James White, Arthur White, Jr., Rodney Williams, Scott Jarrett and Kenneth Timms.
