Ms. Doris Brown Jackson, age 78 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was born on April 25, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Joe Brown and Elizabeth Smith Brown

Ms. Jackson is survived by her son, Jerone and Vida Jackson; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Dylan and Cindy Jackson; great granddaughter, Remy Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Ryan Jackson; sisters, Flora Mae Tierce, Wilodean Tapp, Caroline Brown, and Aloma Mull and brothers, J.C. Brown and Gyle Brown.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Jackson will be conducted on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, in Rock Run Alabama.

The family of Ms. Jackson will receive family and friends on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Phil Bedford, Lee Dingler, Chris Beeler, Roland Chandler, David Pike and Joey Pledger.
