Mrs. Doris Jackson Holcomb, age 87, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013. She was born on December 20, 1925, in Polk County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ivy and Sarah Jackson.

Mrs. Holcomb is survived by son, Tim Holcomb , grand children; Jamie Holcomb and Tara Holcomb Doria; great grandchild, Jackson Doria; brother, Howard Jackson.
Mrs. Holcomb is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Holcomb.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at three o'clock in the Chapel of Gammage Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Gunter will be officiating the service.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Gammage Funeral Home.

The interment will be in Northview Cemetery, in Cedartown.

The following men will serve as pallbearers, Grady Teems, Charles Himes, Bob Temple, Michael Hurley, Bob Peppers, Stan Williams, Louis Hindman, W. J. Cole,
Tony Redding, Alan Carter and Jeff Doria.
