Ms. Doreen Reems Martin, age 94, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was born on October 26, 1919 in Alto, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Fred Reems and Subbia Martin Reems.

Ms. Martin is survived by her daughter, Sally Annette Martin Swann Martin; granddaughter, Chaquita Swann Crawford (Jimmy); grandson, William Cade Crawford; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Robert & Chris Martin (Birmingham, Alabama).

Ms. Martin is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Kennie Martin; aunt, Sallie Martin; and grandfather, Mack Martin.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 29, 2014 from six o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

A graveside service for Ms. Doreen Martin will be held at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Alto, Georgia with her granddaughter Mrs. Chaquita Crawford officiating.
