Mr. Donald Eugene Zell, age 82 of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014. He was born on February 28, 1932 in Eau-Claire, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Edward William Zell and Lettie Ruth Smith.

Mr. Zell is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mrs. Virginia Malee Guffin Zell; daughter, Julie Brack; step-sons, Jerry Bell and Jack Bell; sister, Marge Penning; brother, David Zell and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Zell is preceded in death by his parents and step-sons, John Bell and Jim Bell.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Zell will be conducted on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Bell and Rev. Randy Vines officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery with full military rites. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family of Mr. Zell will receive family and friends on Friday, November 21, 2014 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Flowers are being accepted; however, donations can be made to the Friendly Baptist Church.

The following will serve as honorary pallbearers; Jack Bell, Jerry Bell and Charisse Yates.
