Mr. Donald W. Moore, Sr., Age 76, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2005. He was born August 8, 1928 in Cedartown, Georgia.

Mr. Moore retired from the United States Air Force in 1966 after 21 years of service. He was a Korean War Veteran and a recipient of the Soldiers Medal. He later retired from Purolator Courier and Healthdyne.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Mr. William S. and Lou Annie Davis Moore. Also preceded in death by Brothers; Bill Moore and David J. (Buddy) Moore, Sisters; Bernice Robinson, Lois Brown, Mary Jo Diamond and Francis Moore.

Mr. Moore is survived by his Wife of 53 years, Emma Jane Traylor Moore. Four Daughters, Diane Coker and Son-In-Law O'Neal Coker of Kennesaw, GA, Jackie Jones and Son-In-Law, Rudy Jones of Ballground, GA, Marilyn Nichols and Son-In-Law David Nichols of Dallas, GA, and Liz Jones and Son-In-Law Andy Jones of Marietta, GA. Two sons, Donald W. Moore, Jr. and Daughter-In-Law Irene Trowbridge Moore of Dallas, GA, Randy Moore and Daughter-In-Law Tammy Strickland Moore of Dawsonville, GA, Sister; Lemar Flynt of Cedartown, GA. Also surviving are 11 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 4th from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at the funeral home.

The Funeral for Mr. Donald W. Moore, Sr. will be conducted on Friday, February 5th at 2:00PM in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery with full military Rites conducted by Warner Robins Air Force Base.

Pallbearers for Mr. Moore are Donald Moore, Jr., Jerry Wells, Ray Robinson, Stoni Wall, Greg Reynolds, and Robbie Traylor.
