Mr. Donald Robert Gaylor, age 95, of Cedartown passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010. He was born April 28, 1914 in Cedartown, the son of Andrew Gaylor and Hattie McInvale Gaylor (both deceased).

Mr. Gaylor was retired from Goodyear with 43 years of service.

Mr. Gaylor is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ester Phillips, Jewell Roberts, Odell Thomas, Jessie Gaylor, Lennie Davis, Ralph Gaylor, and Cooper Gaylor and son-in-law, Eddie Messer.

Mr. Donald Robert Gaylor is survived by his wife of seventy years, Ezzie Roberts Gaylor; children, Faye Messer, Wayne Gaylor and wife, Kim, Sandra Raburn and husband, Charles; sister, Cecil Mann. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

The funeral for Mr. Gaylor will be conducted on Tuesday, April 13th at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Homer Hulsey officiating.

Interment will be in Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are Franklin Phillips, David Morris, J. D. Martin, Jerry West, Dennis Morris, John Harvey Moore, and Wallace Cox.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 12th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
